2LI Risk & Protective Services
Guard scheduling run by text, for an event security firm
Omo runs 2LI Risk & Protective Services, staffing guards for events. JAB built scheduling his team runs from their phones: who is working, who has confirmed, and which shifts still need a guard.

- The work
- Event security runs on people being in the right place at the right time. Shifts, confirmations and last-minute changes all happen by phone, often the night before.
- What JAB did
- JAB built events, shifts and guard assignments that work by text, and one business line that knows a guard from a client from a new lead.
- What is true now
- 2LI was the first business on JAB's Ops and Sales plan, with scheduling built around how the team already works: by text.
What we built
Events, shifts and guard assignments, run by text. Omo can create an event, assign a guard and add a team member. A guard can ask for their schedule and confirm a shift. Anyone on the team can ask who is working or which shifts still need cover.
The business line knows who is texting. A guard on the roster reaches the team assistant, a client reaches service, and a new number is treated as a new lead. JAB also built 2LI a website for event security, patrol, executive protection, crowd management, access control and loss prevention.
The real thing
- Who is working Saturday?
- Which shifts still need a guard?
- What is my schedule this week?
- Confirm my shift
